Polamalu, Holmes listed as doubtful for Dolphins game
Pittsburgh Steelers11/21/2007 7:59 AM The Post-Gazette reports the Steelers likely will be without two of their best starters when they play the Miami Dolphins Monday night at Heinz Field. SS Troy Polamalu joins WR Santonio Holmes on Mike Tomlin's doubtful list for the game. Polamalu has a sprained knee from the overtime loss Sunday against the New York Jets. Similar injuries kept WR Hines Ward and DE Aaron Smith out for two games this season. Holmes has a high ankle sprain, an injury that can linger and has kept players out for a month or so. CB Bryant McFadden missed three games this season with a high ankle sprain. Holmes is understood to have a mild version of the injury. Read more
