Lloyd breaks bone; team signs Farris

The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins agreed to terms with WR Jimmy Farris last night, the player said, after WR Brandon Lloyd suffered what is likely a season-ending shoulder injury during practice yesterday at Redskins Park. Lloyd broke his collarbone on the final play of practice and is expected to be placed on injured reserve today to make room for Farris. Lloyd, who has flopped in two seasons here, would be out at least six weeks with his injury with just seven games to play. Read more
