Brown optimistic about knee injury
New Orleans Saints11/13/2007 10:58 AM The Times Picayune reports Saints OT Jammal Brown appears to have avoided major injury after his lower left leg was bent backward during Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Rams at the Superdome. Brown said Monday that he injured his tibia, but it was not broken. Saints Coach Sean Payton described the injury as a muscle strain. Both were optimistic that he could return to practice this week to prepare for Sunday's game at Houston. Read more
