Croyle to take over as Chiefs QB

The Kansas City Star reports with the Chiefs’ playoff hopes fading quickly because of a defective offense, coach Herm Edwards made the recent switch at quarterback permanent on Monday. QB Brodie Croyle, who replaced Damon Huard in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to Denver, will take over for Huard as the starter in Sunday’s game against the Colts in Indianapolis. Read more
