Gore ready to roll
San Francisco 49ers11/10/2007 8:43 AM The Mercury News reports RB Frank Gore vowed to be back in the lineup a week after being sidelined by an ankle sprain. "Yeah, I'll play Monday," Gore said before practicing on a limited basis Friday. After sustaining the injury Oct. 21, Gore hobbled to a 41-yard effort against New Orleans, then sat out against Atlanta. The Pro Bowl selection said he is feeling better and that the extra day of rest before Monday's game "will help a whole lot." Read more
