Off-field behavior doesn't faze Taylor

The Pioneer Press reports rookie RB Adrian Peterson may have been the Vikings' star, but veteran Chester Taylor also shined Sunday against the Chicago Bears. And, yes, his on-field performance surpassed the shiner on his eye.  In his first public comments after his Wednesday fight with DE Erasmus James, Taylor insisted that the incident didn't affect his play, and he added that he and the defensive end have patched up their issues. "I'm cool," Taylor said. "It wasn't no big thing. It was just a misunderstanding. It was just two players who had a disagreement about something. But I mean, it wasn't nothing big. Asked if the week was a difficult one, Taylor said, "It wasn't difficult at all. "I'm a professional. I never let anything interfere with my job." Read more
