Pittsburgh Steelers 10/09/2007 8:12 AMThe Post-Gazette reports after a one-week drop, RB Willie Parker rose back to the top of the National Football League. Parker leads the NFL with 507 yards rushing after his fourth 100-yard game this season. Parker ran for 102 yards on 28 carries Sunday in the Steelers' 21-0 victory against Seattle at Heinz Field. It was Parker's 17th career game of more than 100 yards, 10 of them at Heinz Field. He had seven in 2006, five in 2005 and one in his rookie season of 2004, when he played briefly until the final game when he ran for 102 yards in Buffalo. Parker is the only back in Steelers history to rush for more than 200 yards twice, both last season. His 223 yards against Cleveland Dec. 7 were the most for the Steelers.Read more
