Seahawks reach extension with Wallace
Seattle Seahawks08/21/2007 8:39 PM ESPNâs John Clayton reports the Seahawks settled on their backup quarterback of the present and the future by reaching a three-year extension for $5.4 million with QB Seneca Wallace. Wallace was scheduled to be a free agent after the season. His salary was scheduled to be $800,000. Stepping in for Matt Hasselbeck for four starts last season, Wallace played well enough in games and in the preseason to convince the Seahawks to lock him up through 2010.
