Jenkins to report to Panthers camp on time
Carolina Panthers07/23/2007 12:31 PM The Charlotte Observer reports Pro Bowl DT Kris Jenkins will be present when the Carolina Panthers report to training camp Friday at Wofford College. Livis Freeman, who operates Jenkins' website (www.krisjenkins77.com), said in an e-mail Monday morning that Jenkins plans to be at camp. But Jenkins declined an interview request through Freeman. Jenkins missed the team's voluntary workouts to deal with personal business, according to his agent, Tony Paige. Jenkins also forfeited a $175,000 bonus by not taking part in the team's off-season conditioning program. Paige has previously said Jenkins was working on his own with a personal trainer. Read more
