Injury creates chances for Raiders' QBs
Oakland Raiders06/13/2007 8:33 AM The Mercury News reports QB Andrew Walter's recent knee surgery ended his participation in the Raiders' organized team activities. That's bad news for Walter, but good news for veteran QB Josh McCown and rookie QB JaMarcus Russell. After participating in a third of the offensive plays previously, McCown and Russell split time with the first-team offense when the team's three-day mini-camp opened Monday. âJaMarcus looked really good," HC Lane Kiffin said. "Without going back to watch the film, it was JaMarcus' best practice since he's been here. That was glaring to me. I'll see if I still see that once I see the film.
