Kent State sleeper making noise at cornerback

The Dayton Daily News reports he may be the best pro-football prospect that many fans have never heard of. But scouts are getting quite familiar with Kent State CB Usama Young, who could be the top sleeper in this weekend's NFL draft. Not invited to the NFL Combine in February, Young (5-foot-11, 196 pounds) created a buzz at Kent State's March 9 Pro Day when he unleashed a 4.39-second clocking in the 40-yard dash, a 43-inch vertical leap and 10-foot, 11-inch standing broad jump. Young's life has been a blur ever since, with visits to Indianapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Seattle, New York (Jets), Jacksonville, Cincinnati and Green Bay. Read more
