Cardinals re-sign Smith
Arizona Cardinals04/05/2007 7:55 AM The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona Cardinals have re-signed DE Antonio Smith to a one-year contract. Smith appeared in all 16 games last season, starting eight of them at defensive end collecting 29 tackles, 2 1/2 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one pass defensed. The Cardinals' fifth-round selection (135th overall) in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State, Smith has appeared in 29 games (16 starts) with 43 tackles, 51/2 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble during his career.
