Joseph arrested on marijuana charge
Cincinnati Bengals01/23/2007 8:53 AM The Dayton Daily News reports CB Johnathan Joseph became the first Bengal arrested in 2007 when he was charged with possession of marijuana in Florence, Ky., early Monday. Joseph, the team's No. 1 draft pick in 2006, is the ninth Cincinnati player arrested in eight months. "We don't comment on these matters when they're unresolved," club spokesman Jack Brennan said. "We don't believe it's appropriate when it's still at the level of charges." A Boone County sheriff's arrest report said Joseph, 22, of Union, Ky., was the passenger in a car driven by a woman who was pulled over for weaving and driving slowly on U.S 42 at 2:15 a.m. The woman was arrested for reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
